Create a “split day” to allow staff a lunch break.
We are legally required to give instructors break time, but adding a lunch break is cumbersome and time consuming. It also prevents up booking an instructor for a whole day of series of days as we get the “already booked” message.
A solution would be to have opening times from 0800 to 1700 daily(current system), plus a new option for “split day” and an input box asking the start and stop time for a break.
This would apply to the whole business (easiest to program).
If you think it is possible to program, you could make it available at an instructor level to allow for split duties - for night flying, (difficult to program)
