When I look at my day appointment in Day View of some week I desperately miss the opportunity to jump directly to the same day of adjacent (next or previous) weeks. I propose to add next week/previous week buttons (right near next/previous day buttons), which will step in 7 days to adjacent week while still keeping me in Day View.

There are existing next/previous buttons in Week View but my specific point is doing week-walking fully in Day View due to better level of time scheduling details there.

To avoid clutter, I also can propose to utilize shorter symbol notation for the buttons like many other web calendars do, for example:
