Iphone/ Ipad App (103 Votes) Vote for this Feature
Same as the website but an app version.
Do you have an android app? I couldn't find it in the play store.
I was also under the spell of expecting an App with this new launch...oops.
;-)
;-)
This is something that we are actively pursuing. At this time we don’t have a potential publish date.
One of the issues we have is that an app would could potentially have out of date data. For example your phone may be offline while you are browsing the calendar and another user may make a booking at that time. This makes the app less good than our website which always shows you live data and no booking conflicts can occur. This is especially true of larger groups.

It would be great to see the app launched :-)
Yeah I have to agree, I think an app would be great regardless of the off/online issue. You could just state any new bookings will not be shown/requested until connected to the internet. I predominantly use shlott to view my existing bookings anyway to remind me of what time it commences etc.
Any news on the app yet?
Agree that the on-line/off-line issue should not be a show stopper. A phone app would be incredibly useful
I'm changing my position here! Having tweaked the settings on Safari I find the site is behaving much like an App. It has adapted to iPhone screen format well and is a lot faster to react, load pages etc than the PC. It's really working well - for me at least

Is this still on it's way?
@abe if the phone is offline, you wouldn't be able to book anyway. So when the device comes back online, ensure data is up to date before allowing reservations to be made.
If you guys want an app made, I would be able to help do this for you (what I do for a living!).
Thanks

Hi guys, great website. The App would be a game changer for my group and would be willing to convert to a subscription for it. As mentioned above, the offline issue isn’t a problem as everyone would realise you can’t get the latest info offline, but it would be incredibly useful to check bookings etc on an app. Any news?
Any update on when the app may be available?
An app would be a game changer for us as well, at present we are reviewing scheduling software options for a new operation we have set up with a single corporate aircraft - the lack of an app will most likely mean we'll settle for another paid option.
Just started with Shlott - disappointed there is no phone app, looks like it has been pending for a very long time
yeah tbh i'd be up for making the app myself (my job is an app developer). but i'd need access to their APIs. I thought I'd seen this somewhere before tbh... maybe someone internal could reach out.
Any news on the app?
As a temporary solution on iPhone:
1. Go to safari and go to the shlott login page
2. Press the 'share' icon at the bottom of the page (next to the search bar)
3. Click 'Add to Home Screen' and fill in a title (this is what will be displayed, the same as an app name)
4. Click 'Save'
5. This will then take you to your home screen and it will have the shlott logo and when you click on it it will ask you to sign in, and once you have done this make sure to click 'remember me' so it will automatically log you in each time you click on the bookmark on your home screen.
This works great for me and is an easy solution until an app has been made.

any update regarding the app
If no app, could the website be more user friendly on an iPhone, please?
At the moment it is almost unusable as the bottom half of the already, small screen is 'blued' out. Perhaps where you want to put ads, which I reject?
Thanks
